Its Vancouver so it was raining but we didn't even notice with all the lights, color, energy, as we stood waiting for the clock to countdown to kick off the 21st Olympiad. Syl was in the stadium - lucky dog, and we watched from the outside and the Hotel Vancouver drinking wine and martinis to celebrate this incredible event. It was so great to have people from all over the world to celebrate with.
The 16 year-old songbird who sang Oh Canada in the most beautiful rendition in memory set the stage for the Opening Ceremony that blew us all away.
